CoffeeOur coffee blends are generally medium/light roast, and our single origins are lighter. We source high quality coffee and roast just enough to get the best flavour out of the beans. . Your order will be either roasted fresh, picked from exisiting shelf stock that is within 10days post roast as this is still within our timeframe for recommended minimum resting or taken out of our library of of frozen goodies that have been sealed away in time. Our roaster and the profiles we use create super coffees that age incredibly well. Our roasts are useable from 7days post roast but we would highly recommend waiting for a minimum 14-21 days post roast to get the best out of them, and this ageing continues to taste amzing all the way up to 45 days as the notes will get noticably more balanced. We provide tasting notes with each bean we produce, but don’t worry if you can’t pick up on the nuances of our tasting notes in your coffee. Flavour is an individual thing, so we created a tasting guide to help you find your way around flavour profiles, but everything is subjectional to your tastes. We prefer not to ship ground coffee, for quality reasons when possible. The minute you grind coffee it starts to oxidise which accelerates the ageing process. Fresh is always best, but the most important thing is that your drinking amazing coffee too as life is too short for bad coffee, so if you need assistance with grind let us know. Our selection reflects the season growing of coffee from our producers around the world, which means some specific regions are only available during certain periods of the year. But don’t worry our blends are available all year round, and our skilled roasters work with suppliers and oprigins to keep these blends producing their best throughout the seaosnal crops.
