Coffee story

Kenya Kii AA is a standout specialty coffee produced by the Kii Coffee Factory, established in 1968 in Kenya's Kirinyaga District and affiliated with the Rungeto Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd. 

Benefiting from nutrient-rich red volcanic soil, an altitude of approximately 1,619 meters above sea level, and a cool climate with moderate bimodal rainfall, the region provides ideal growing conditions. The crop is predominantly driven by classic heirloom varieties specifically SL28 and SL34, which account for 99% of the yield. Hand-picked by smallholder cooperative members and meticulously wet-processed using fresh water from the nearby River Kii, this lot delivers a strikingly vibrant cup. 

Expect a crisp, lively acidity reminiscent of Pink Lady apple and tangy kiwi fruit, perfectly balanced by a rich, soothing milk chocolate.
