Nestled in the high-altitude hills of Huila, Colombia, this Geisha lot from Finca Perla Negra is a testament to the experimental mastery of producer Jose Cuellar.
The coffee undergoes a rigorous "Thermal Shock" washed process, involving a 140-hour anaerobic fermentation followed by a 60-hour fermentation in slime, before being finished with a 45°C hot water treatment to stabilise its complex flavors.
This meticulous processing creates a vibrant and nostalgic cup, where the whimsical sweetness of musk sticks and Turkish delight meets the bright, zesty acidity of tangelo, and lime zest. With its creamy body and delicate floral notes of citronella and green tea, every sip offers a sophisticated journey through one of Colombia’s most innovative farms.
